Nox Hotel Galway
I was invited to stay in the Nox Hotel in Galway on Friday night, with dinner, cocktails for two, and breakfast.
Nox Hotel is located on the Liosbaun Road, just off the Headford Road as you enter Galway City Centre.
I had been to the Nox Hotel several times before for dinner and cocktails, but I had never stayed in the hotel. From the photos of the bedrooms I had seen they looked stunning, and I was really excited to stay in the hotel! It was the perfect relaxing break for a weekend in January.
I took this video below to show how fab the room was! My photos were just not doing the room enough justice, I really need to invest in a good camera!
Dinner at Fork @ Nox
My friend Vanessa had the Cherry Bomb Iced Tea cocktail and I had the Elderflower G&T (the G&T obsession is still going!).
For starter, I had the Goats Cheese Bruschetta which included; warm spicy chorizo, sundried tomato, tapenade, basil pesto, rocket, toasted sourdough bread, topped with balsamic reduction. I only got into goats cheese last year, but I love it as a starter, this was delicious, the balsamic sauce made it!
For the main course I had the 6oz Beef Burger which included; bacon, cheddar cheese, tomato and relish, red onion, cos lettuce, brioche bun, side salad and chunky chips. The relish on the burger was amazing.
For dessert I had the selection of ice-cream, topped off with a glass of wine.
I had a wonderful time during my stay at the Nox Hotel, thank you so much to Caroline for inviting me in. I always love the food in the Nox Hotel and would definitely recommend trying it for dinner, or cocktails. It would be the perfect spot to book a Valentine’s dinner, the ambiance and decor of the hotel is so fab and modern.
Hope you enjoyed reading,
