So I’m finally getting around to writing my blog post about my first ITWBN (Into The West Blogger Network) which was last Sunday in the Radisson Hotel in Galway.
What’s it about?
ITWBN is basically a blogging family, set up by Sinead Carroll from Yummy Mummy blog and Saibh Egan a fashion photographer! Everyone who attended is a blogger or MUA or the likes! So it’s a great way to network, meet new people and learn lots from each other!
It was really nice to meet up with people that also blog because you all have the same questions or funny stories, and can relate to each other (or just talk about blogging non-stop instead of boring the heads off my friends 😛 )
It was my first ever ITWBN event so I was really nervous and excited because I didn’t know anyone and it’s always a bit scary going to an event on your own! But I always feel better after doing something new like that – kind of like I’ve accomplished something, if that makes sense?
I was really eager to go and see what it would be like, and listen to the speeches, meet everyone, and be inspired!
What I Wore
My outfit was all from River Island (surprise surprise :P) and I also wore my Mi Moneda that my mam got me for Christmas last year with my blue coin
When I arrived I met Michelle from David Mc Conville orthodontics – Clearbraces, which I am currently just over half way through and she introduced me to a few people and I found my seat at the Kylemore Abbey table, where my goodie bag and name badge was waiting for me
We had a while to mingle and meet everyone before the speeches started and to go around to the different businesses or table that were there with their products!
Barbara that works with me in River Island was there with her Basanti jewellery collection!
I loved this cake made specially for the event by A Modern Mommy’s World
The speeches were by Marika Burke from GalwayMarketing.ie, Siobhan Mc Donnell from LetzMakeUp, Richie Spence from Beautifi.com, The Galway Player, and Kate Kelly from Cocoa Brown Tan.
The Goodie Bag
There was sooo much stuff in the goodie bag I was shocked when I got home and emptied it on my bed! Goodies from Benefit, The Body Shop, Isa Dora, Wet n’ Wild, Glam Glow and Debenhams to name a few!
Debenhams gave us all a €50 voucher each!! I got my first Naked Palette with mine, I wanted to buy one for ages and I want to do more beauty blogging so this was perfect
All in all I had a really amazing time and I’m SO happy I went! I found the speeches really inspiring, learning new tips and listening to the speaker’s own personal stories
I can’t wait for May for the next one!!
Big thanks to Saibh and Sinead for all your hard work it was an amazing event!
I hope you enjoyed reading
