My Skincare Routine

I recently visited the Skinsation Clinic which is located on the Tuam Road, above Laura Ashley. I got a facial, stocked up on my skin products and tried the Dermalux LED Phototherapy that I had heard so much about.

My Skincare Routine

These are the products I purchased and will be using;

Morning

In the morning I cleanse using the Jan Marini Bioglycolic Facial Cleanser. This product has the ingredient glycolic acid and stimlates collagen and tightens pores. Glycolic Acid is said to be the holy grail for exfoliation, effectively removing the outermost layer of dead cells from the complexion, revealing brighter, fresher skin. Products that contain Glycolic Acid are used often to treat scarring, skin discoloration and signs of aging, like fine lines and wrinkles.

Image Daily Matte Moisturizer

I then apply the moisturizer and after about 10 minutes I apply my makeup. This oil-free, broad-spectrum UVA/UVB sunscreen delivers high sun protection in a mattifying, antioxidant-rich base that’s perfect for oily and acne-prone skin types. Micro-sponge technology absorbs surface oils and gives skin a flawless, shine-free finish. It doubles as a protective primer to create a healthy glow before makeup application.

Evening

I use the Jan Marini Bioglycolic Facial Cleanser (above) to clean my face at night.

The MakeUp Eraser

I remove my makeup with The MakeUp Eraser. I was gifted the product a year ago and I can honestly say it is the best and most useful thing I have ever been sent, I use it religiously to use it to remove my makeup every day. I have tried all sorts of face cloths to remove makeup and I also used to always be buying cotton pads in Penneys to remove my makeup which was such a waste. The eraser lasts 3-5 years (which they say is 1,000 machine washes) I just throw it in with my laundry every week and it comes out good as new.

Ormedic Hydrating Anti-oxidant Serum

After removing my makeup I use the Ormedic Hydrating Anti-oxidant Serum. This is a botanical lactic acid serum infused with organic Japanese green tea, polyphenols and a copper-complex peptide, It balances your skin from within and restores its ideal moisture level, hydrating your skin.
