My Stay at the Armada Hotel

I was recently invited to stay in the Armada Hotel in Spanish Point Co. Clare. I had never been to the Armada Hotel before and was excited to visit the hotel and this part of Co. Clare, as I had heard great things about the hotel and surrounding areas.

The room I was staying in for the night was the Wild Atlantic Suite, the room was just stunning, with a breathtaking view – floor to ceiling windows overlooking the West Clare coastline.

The room was amazing, there was a four poster bed, cosy sofas in ocean colours, flat screen tv, feature fireplace, and retro record player. There was also an indulgent suite and stretch out winged armchair and footstool by the panoramic window. I love being beside the sea so I was in my element.

Also in the suite was a walk-in dressing room, an oversized bathroom with luxury handmade products by The Handmade Soap Co. (which I love) and a panaromic sitting area.

The trip took an hour and a half from Galway city, I arrived to the suite on Friday evening and I was amazed by the detail they had made to decorate the room for me. Their attention to detail was second to none. I literally felt like a princess!

There was a bottle of prosecco waiting in the room for me while I got ready, and a gift box from the hotel with Armada; jam, candy rock, seaweed which would make for a lovely bath, and a resuable glass coffee cup. I love the idea of these cups to reduce plastic waste.

Dinner at The Armada Hotel

After freshening up in the room it was time for dinner. We were booked in to the Pearl Restaurant for dinner. We were sitting at the window overlooking the sea.
